Koishikawa Korakuen is one of Tokyo’s popular Edo-period parks. On the grounds, there is so much to see. For flower-lovers though, it is really good with so many different types blooming over the four seasons. Come February and it is very famous for its plum blossoms. You can see a few of the pictures I took here from the 2019 season.
Mogusaen might be a little far from the centre of Tokyo, but it is very well-known for its annual plum blossoms festival. It has some stunning views of the city and is also a great place to see its beautiful flowers. You can see a few of the pictures I took of the 2019 event here.
In November 2018 Rikugien, one of Tokyo’s Edo-period parks lit up again in autumn. It was a great night, even though the unseasonally warm weather prevented the trees being at their best. You can see a few pictures of my visit here.
