On December 23, 2018 Emperor celebrated his last birthday, this 85th, at Chowaden Hall in front of a huge crowd of over 85000 people. It was a good event, but extremely crowded. See some pictures of it here.Read More
If you have an interest in Japanese history or its Imperial Family, then I would highly recommend this tour. You won’t see the Emperor, but you will see some of what lies within this famous castle.
You can only get into the Imperial Palace in Tokyo for a few events each year. Recently I was able to get in to enjoy the annual walk along its Inui street to enjoy the autumn leaves. See the pictures here!Read More
