Tokyo in Pics

A photography blog about Tokyo, run by Australian photographer Rohan Gillett

Not a great time for photography

According to the media, there has been a total of less than three hours of sunlight over the last seventeen days, which ties the record set in 1988. Yes, Tokyo’s weather has been terrible - unending grey skies with some rain. For me, a person who especially likes sunny days, it has been an exercise in patience. I don’t enjoy photography at all when the sky is really dull and even less so when it rains, but I think I might have to rethink that philosophy over the next day or two as I am intending to get out with my camera this week regardless of what the sky looks like.
