Tokyo in Pics

A photography blog about Tokyo, run by Australian photographer Rohan Gillett

Ginza is busy at night

You’d think that by 10 pm, things would be slowing down in Ginza. But it doesn’t.

To be honest, this isn’t one of my favourite photographs of Ginza as I think I set the camera on the tripod too low. As it is, looking along the road, we really can’t see how many cars and taxis pack Chuo-dori (Chuo road) at that time of night. If the camera had been raised a little higher, the perspective would have been different. I think I’m going to put this picture down as a failure, but another learning experience.
