Getting ready for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics

Recently I went for pizza in Shibuya at Pizza Slice with a friend and after that we decided to go for a long walk. We headed through Harajuku and then headed over to Minato ward to check out the Akasaka Imperial Property and the State Guesthouse. Along the way, we walked past the New National Stadium and the Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium. We didn’t stay there long as the weather was looking very dull and we thought it might rain, so we pushed on. However, I did snap a few shots and everything seems to be going well. The new stadium looks like it will be a very impressive structure when completed. Having said that, I’m not a huge fan of the modern Olympics, but I do hope this event will be a success.
