Tokyo in Pics

Some colour in the grey …

If you want everyone to look at you, be bright and colourful, but keep some areas dark and grey.  That usually does the trick. You’ll be the centre of attention.

This is French chef Joel Robuchon’s restaurant in Ebisu, Tokyo.  I took the picture with a wide-angle lens which affected the perspective of the lines, but I didn’t mind as I thought it created some impact.  After that I just desaturated the picture around the building and then played with the colours and white balance till I got what I wanted.  Très bon!
