Tokyo in Pics

I love afternoons in Tokyo

Above the ground is the best place to enjoy your afternoons in Tokyo. If you can get above the ground, then you can enjoy the views of the sky and what is under it. But it is in the afternoon or early evening when the sun is going down, the light becomes softer and the city starts to change. It loses its harshness and becomes beautiful. I took this photo in March 2019 when the cherry blossoms were blooming in Shinjuku Gyoen and you can see patches of pink and white throughout the park, and in the background there is Tokyo Tower, Roppongi Hills and New National Stadium where the Olympics will be held in 2020. Get above the city when the light is soft and you’ll see what I mean.
