Tokyo in Pics

Men on a mission

An ambulance from the Tokyo Fire Department on its way to an emergency in Shinjuku. At times I can’t believe how these crews can get their vehicles through the traffic which at times can be extremely dense, but the drivers are assisted by a crew member on a microphone asking motorists and pedestrians to clear a path. It usually seems to work from what I’ve seen.

By the way if you ever wonder about the quality of the service they provide, I highly recommend them. I’ve had to use them twice in my life so far, and both times they were superb - a full ten out of ten.
